Edinbvrgh.....

Hiya, well I am back from a fab weekend in edinburgh, or edinbvrgh as all the signs say it is spelt, anyone know why????
The city was stunning, and my love for gothic and georgain architecture was truely satisfied, below is a small selection of pictures from the weekend, which true to form included a trip to the hard rock cafe. The city was also hosting France vs scotland in the 6 nations rugby, this i did not know until we got here, put it this way there was more french here than we saw in paris. We watched the england rugby game, cheer the boys on, which was great until wales scored a try and the whole pub cheered, so to say we was in the minority is an understatement but hey who cares, as england trashed wales :) and scotland lost to france whoo hoo!!

Also during the weekend ann and I managed to find 9 geo caches hidden in and around edinburgh, including our first night caching in an old converted railway, now private houses so we had to sneek about, how we did not get a visit from the boys in blue i am not sure.

We flew home last night and i headed straight for a hot bath and bed, this morning i had to do chores, food shopping and an appt at the school re my over sensitive daughter lol so inbetween i had discovered there a cache hidden near my old house and that had not been found in 5 wks, so i decided to have a quick hunt. it was an easy find although in an open location and as the wind blew and the snow fell i did question my sanity lol

oh well back to work tomorrow :(

Hiya from Edinburgh!!!



Amazing quick flight of 45mins and we landed in Edinburgh. Quick bus ride into the city and then discovered the Scott memorial which you could climb 287 steps to the top, amazing views.
That worked up our appetite for hard rock cafe......

This is the burns memorial we could not get closer because the gates were locked :-(

live, love, laugh

I absolutely love the say live, love, laugh, and i found this sign, it is made of destressed metal. I had to buy it of course and it is now hanging in my bathroom, and makes me smile.

i am trying to remain positive but lifes rollercoaster is taking me on another big dip again, my landlord got in contact and even though i have just signed a years contract he has decided that he is selling the house, so we may be on the move again :( i have just got to wait and see what happens.

Also a pic of my baby, he finally lost his first tooth. in the past week C has lost 2 of hers, and james' has lost one, boy are we keeping the tooth fairy in business.

Geo caching

Headed out with Nikki and gang last weekend to see if we could find some caches near her house... in the grounds of the old claybury hospital, now claybury park we found all 3, although one took us ages. We returned with 4 very muddy children and a muddy dog, who were all very tired after 2hrs of walking, climbing and jumping :)
