ally's space

What a fab place... it was cold! the snow had all melted:( but it was the first weekend of the christmas markets :) Discovered a local fast food called Bosna! its like a hotdog but with mustard, currypowder and onions in it...yum! Also the hot punches that you drink whilst standing near a open log burner in the market :) And the fab huge steins of beer :) As always the weekend went far to quickly and it was back to work yesterday and ill children, usual colds and sore throats. well here are a few pics from Salzburg Mozart with a wooley hat on :) Xmas market:) Me with a small beer :) xxx

Not much happening here...kids are fine, work is yuk! although it is slowly getting better. Tomorrow i am off to...... Salzburg in Austria for the weekend. Camera card has been deleted, new batteries ready, must go pack my bag and kids bag to go to their dads with. Am i allowed to get excited yet??? i have small bubbly feeling and i know that i wont sleep tonight, i get like abig kid :) anyway catch you all on monday. xxx

A huge thank you to Ann who came over and babysat my tribe last night. that meant that i got to go and watch these guys at Wembley Arena! Yes the mighty Stereophonics, they were awesome. This is the second time that i have seen them live and wow they just get better and better!!! Ok off for some xmas and clothes shopping today. clothes (ie jumpers, hat, gloves etc) getting ready for next weekend in Salzburg. its currently -3c and snowing, whoo hoo! real snow!! have a great day! and Ann hugs and a huge thank you again, love ya hun!!

Ok a few more piccies from Paris!!!! Notre Dame, a most impressive building! i could have spent hours in there. An impromptu photo shoot in the park :) and by the Seine... The lovre.... And after climbing a few hundred steps, the sacre coeur. So where are we off to next girls????

Ok i am shattered, yesterday was rara's 40th birthday (not that she looks a day over 35!), so me, ann and rara head off for lunch in PARIS!!!! we had an awesome day! We jumped on a flight from Luton airport (after having Krispy Kreme doughnuts and coffee for breakfast) and headed for Charle De Gualle airport, then onto the RER train into the city centre. The effiel tower was just as cool as i remember it was 20 odd years ago when i first saw it! We worked our way up to the top of the tower and paris looked so beautiful, the colours of the trees that line the river seine was magnificent, next we had lunch in altitude 95, the resturant in the Effiel Tower, lunch was gorgeous and topped off by a glass of pink champagne then we took a river bus and stopped at Notre dame, wow! does not even begin to describe this fantastic beautiful building! and best of all we wandered around inside. i could have spent hours in there. next stop was La Louvre, it is so pretty all lit up at night! final...

Ok so its now November, where has this year flown too???? Well last week was my last week working at Stansted Airport, it was so sad to leave after 6yrs working there. So we had two nights out (very sore head!) and a fab lunch on friday. Tomorrow i start at harlow police station in my new role as Intelligence researcher ???? Last night i took the kids to a firework display which was great, it was mild weather and they all seemed to like it this year, no tears or tantrums :) tried to take a few pics as well lol ok, its time for breakfast. xxx
