It's that time of the month again, time to grab a cuppa and catch up. Head over to creatingpaperdreams link on the right. So how are you? How's summer going in your part of the world?  The last 2 weeks have been manic, the twins finished primary school which meant assemblies, plays, leaving parties etc. the eldest son has had his cast removed from his wrist and all X-rays show his wrist has healed although he can't return to judo for another few weeks. But he was invited to his school sports presentation evening, he won a prize for his basketball team efforts.  Unfortunately it was at exactly the same time as the twins play, so I went to the play then the presentation and caught 2nd half.  Now it's summer school, the twins are there for 2 weeks making new friends, getting to know their new teachers. Me juggling everything with work lol. I can't wait I have a week off soon, the plans are to wallpaper the living room.  We discuss life and the comings and goings of sum...

Time for tea - June

Opps a day late sorry but come in and grab a cuppa... So how's things?  What's been happening with you? This house has been manic again. Work and school commitments, the twins finish junior school in a few weeks and then enter high school.  Omg how did that happen. They are growing up so fast. They returned yesterday from their first residential school trip, sun kissed and full of stories to share.  My eldest broke his wrist in a judo comp last week so next Tuesday we are back at the hospital to see if they need to operate and pin it or it just needs a solid cast.  He has been so brave though and taking it all in his stride.  Me not so and have turned into major over protective mum lol So fitting all that around working full time has been fun. So share your news, what's happening. What crafty things have you been upto? Head over to Abi's blog creatingpaperdreams link on the right. To catch up with everyone else.

Hi come in and grab a seat on this damp cold drizzly day. How are you? Let me put the kettle on.   I heard that abi is busy with her exams but thought I would still invite those who can to pop in for a cuppa.  You caught me reading a bit more of my book, it's about 3 girls who have been through high school/college together and now head off into life. Would you like a slice of cake, I made lemon drizzle and tea loaf,  So what's been happening, this month has been quite quiet really, work and more work.  Have been feeling real tired so for the first time ever I have given into it and got some early nights. Oh well time passes to quickly. I am dragging all 4 to the cinema to see the Lego movie. Wish me luck lol

Last month I told you about our DIY tasks. Well all I have left to do in the new kitchen is paint the newly plastered walls. Not much else has really been happening, well apart from I have regained my love for cross stitch.  I had forgotten how relaxing I find it.   Thi...
