The best day/night of the year! i love it. wipe the slate clean and look forward to a new year ahead. although still cant believe that it is 2008 tomorrow. feels like only yesterday we were all excited about the year 2000. ayway i found this challenge on Anna's blog, called 365 days. you take a photo of yourself or something important to you and journal about the day! At the end of the year you will have loads of self portraits and a record of the year...just hope i can keep up :) Anyway whatever you are doing tonight enjoy! Me and the little ones are off to a fancy dress party at a friends house :) xxx

Apologises for not blogging, honestly have not felt like it. Well i hope that you and yours had a fab christmas and that you got everything you desired! Mine started at the unearthly hour of 4.50am when george ran around the house shouting santa had been and waking the twins, me and the neighbours i am sure! In this house you can open your stocking and the present that santa left then its time for brekkie. After brekkie we opened the presents under the tree. that took us until 7am :) This is a picture of the trio at 5am, growl growl! I got some fabbie presents from my friends, Ann throughly spoilt me with 3 dolly beads, a fab book and a fontwerks stamp. making me cry when i opened the fab little box to discover so much! Nikki spoilt me with various scrapbooking items and a monsoon voucher, bring on the sales :) Rachel bought me my fave chocs, yummy! I feel so honoured to have such great friends. Anyway off to settle little people for bed. xxx

It is a huge 8ft artificial tree covered in white and silver dceorations, this year is a gorgeous 7ft real tree Snow! Love it or Dread it...

Ok i know that we all have trees, but i have a real tree. its the first real tree i have had at xmas for 8yrs. i always thought that the kids were too young to have a real tree around them. but now is the time for a real tree again. it is gorgeous :) Yes i know that i am sad! Have a great day xxx

Ok i have done my mummy bit this week and attended the twins nativity play and two days later georges nativity themed play called whoops a daisy angel. it was the most bizarre twist on the nativity but it was fun! Here are J and C, C was the Innkeeper and James was a musician. And here is G, he was the Innkeeper in his play too! Ok still need to get some xmas pressies, then actually wrap them :( i dont like that bit! Off to get a real xmas tree today, should be interesting then hunt the loft for a box of decs. joys of xmas!!!

Ok where has the last 7yrs gone??? My eldest george was 7 yesterday! he was joined by 12 of his classmates at Pizza Hut last night, oh the noise, the mess and the amount of ice cream and sweets. a few children went home very green in colour! But fun was had by all. Me i just feel really old and tired! i went to bed at 9.30 just to recover and left george still watching his new dvd transformers. Off to surf blogs and catch up xxx

Ok do you every feel that there are just not enough hours in the day???? Somehow i am so not ready for george's 7th birthday on friday. i have bought his main pressie, but thats it. so lunchtime at work tomorrow i will have to dive into the town and grab card/wrapping papper/small pressies etc. And dont even start about xmas, i have not even started shopping for it yet! i think i will have to do a major order via the net and get it all delivered. Well i have been in my job for almost 5wks and it is still strange, still looking for a permanent position somewhere doing something lol. Also last saturday was the xmas do for stansted airport. great night out, with lots of free alcohol :) not the best picture but we had both had a few drinkies :) xxx
