I love British Summer Time, (well not the losing an hours sleep), but the lighter evenings. I took this from my back door at 7.45pm, the colours were gorgeous and it just makes me smile. Roll on the warm evening when i can sit in the garden with a glass of wine whilst the kids play. xxx

Ok a round up of my fabby week... Wednesday me and ann headed into london for the day, we climbed all 311 steps to the top of the Monument, fabby views from the top and boy was it windy lol We then head for a wander past the tower of london and the fab beefeaters, then went inside tower bridge for a walk along both walkways at the top of the bridge. Then headed to the Walkabout at Temple for beer and ozzie burgers yum yum!!! Below are a couple of the 100 photos i took :) Then thursday headed over to Freeport in braintree for a spot of shopping and lunch with Beks at Pizza Express :) Then today i went to the Vitality Show at Earls Court, had a make over by benefit (was not sure about the coral blusher) have not seen anything coral since the 80's. Saw Rosemary Connally there, lousie redknapp and a whole bunch of very fit looking males doing work outs (mmm eye candy!) Hope that you have had a great week too. x

I have been good with my diet all last week, no cheating at all and how much did i lose? a big fat nothing. so on the way home today the kids asked if we could buy some of these from the local bakers, and supporting local independant businesses lol good excuse we bought 4 (1 each of course not all for me). and i have to say they were so yummy. I love easter, mmm chocolate :) Day 3 of frog to prince, he has onlygrown a little as is my luck, get a prince but he is tiny lol no good when you are a 6ft female lmao. Well Happy Monday xxx

I woke up this morning to an empty house as the children were at their dads, so i got a lay in yay! Then i put the news on to find the sad news that jade goodie died today from cervical cancer, those of you know how close that is to my heart. Her poor boys! Then my dad came over, my dad does not do emotion, but he always makes a point to come over on mothers day, he knows that it is still hard for me. Miss you so much mum x Anyway my tribe got home at 1, with presents and hand picked flowers, only now as a mum do i really appreciate how special hand picked flowers are. I wanted a picture of all of us, these are what i got, my three truely make me smile so much. And here are my wonderful pressies and beautiful cards..... Here is a picture of my frog that i mentioned yesterday.... And today he is changing... Happy Mothers day to all mummy's xxx

So what do you do when feeling down and have no kids, i went to artbase and was shocked as they had hardly anything in there. then went to Lakeside for some retail shopping. It was great being able to actually look at things and go try them on. So one pair of jeans, big belt (so 80's), a smart casual jacket for summer, and a shirt for work. and of course stuff for the kids. yay one happy girlie! Also i popped in to see my nan, at 85 she is nursing her partner of 30yrs with terminal cancer but she is not looking after herself too well and i was shocked how frail she had got. so after taking her to the supermarket to buy shopping, making her lunch and making sure she ate it and told her off (felt funny telling her off lol) she gave me something that she had seen in a shop and bought for me... It was a small green frog that when you place in a glass water slowly turns into prince charming lmao whats my nan trying to say. will take pics as he changes to share. Anyway sun is glo...

Apologises for this rant . not a happy post today. yesterday was parents evening so i suppose two out of three was not bad, but i was not expecting to be told that James is now considered a special educational needs child and will be assessed between now and easter and then taken out of class after the holiday. Apparently his list of problems are, too slow at reading writing, art, he refuses to join in any group work and prefers to sit on his own and work and he is a day dreamer. ok onthe one hand its great that they are doing something about it before he falls too far behind, but they have said without assisted learning he could end up in a special school. So there is me feeling like the worst mum in the world, he reads with me, he is always doing arty things, yes his reading is not upto the same level as his sister but he trys hard and thats all i expect from any of them. And i try hard not to compare the twins as they are individuals not just one person. But then the dr's v...

Hiya, i signed up for the Race for LIfe 2009 today, its on wednesday 15th july so plenty of time yet. Please sponser me, i hope to raise some money this year. Who am i racing for... My mum she died in 2000 from lung cancer, me.. i have been successfully treated for cervical cancer in the last 18mths and for all those thousands of women out there fighting it too. xxx

The school decided on a funky hair day as a way to raise money for red nose day 09. do something funny for money :) So Charli wanted red hair in bunches... George and charli with their noses on... Not much to actually blog about. sunday spent time in the garden with the children. Then work two longs day which is over now. on the hunt for red wash in wash out hairspray for charli for school on friday. Below are 2 los that i made this week for the fab Scrapmates , i was going to go this afternoon for a few hours but firstly i had the children with me and secondly i am so not in a great place right now. Combination of bad luck, depression, pmt. so instead we went for a long walk over the woods and park, then came home and chilled watched Monsters Inc and ate a huge bowl of popcorn between us all. I love the kit from Scrapmates this month, and i still have enough to make another layout. I am off to bed to read a book Ann lent me called Dark Lover about a Vampire... brings a whole new meaning to Bite Me :) nite xxx

why does bad luck always come in threes??? first i find out that my dad needs a knee replacement op but the nhs are refusing to carry it out because he is too young (60) and that he has to live with the pain until he is 65. What is the point... then on the way home from work a lorry flicks up a stone which shatters my windscreen, yes i am insurance although i have to pay the £75 excess but i have only had the car since wednesday. Then just to really annoy me, i make toad in the hole for tea. i go to check on it cooking and the pyrex dish has split in two and all the liquid has leaked all over the oven, which is growing a strange shaped yorkshire pudding all over it. when its cool tomorrow, guess what i will be doing. So i am sitting here completely f****d off. i just want to cry but i am not going too. But i have had enough, if there is a great being, enough is enough stop, PLEASE NOW!!!!! Off to make myself a rather large vodka and diet coke, i think i deserve it.

Charli lost her first tooth today and it got me thinking about how fast they grow up and i ended up digging out some old pics, i thought i would share.... This is me and my little brother, school pics we must be about 6 and 4 ish. These are Georges baby scans, never any hint of the 11lb 5 baby that came out. Here he is, about 2hrs after he was born. Note the cut off legs and the poppers do not do up. he was born late at night and i had bought newborn clothing, i never guessed everything i had bought would be too small. These are a few pics of the twins. I just looked stunned it was the first time that i had been allowed to hold james, he was 7days old. The pic in NICU top right, the worst 2 wks off my life, he got better to then suffer a set back, andthen another. Being told that if your son survives the night he will be very lucky, i found hell on earth that night (and where was my then husband, at work), and finally coming home at 2 weeks old, i was so scared at least in hospp...

Well its the 1st March and feeling the need to get out and about we headed over to Connaught Waters near Loughton/Chingford. We met up with Lorna and her nephews for a run about and to feed the ducks. I was amazed to actually see a Mandarin Duck, ok sad i know but I have not seen one before and they are so pretty.
