Yesterday we headed to the pumpkin patch in St albans, Herts.  It was the end of the week so the pumpkins had been placed in piles around the fields. And guess who forgot their camera, so iphone camera had to do. So 3 pumpkins choosen, and then carved.  Tonight we lit them and I must admit that walking into the room the smell is amazing. The nights are now so dark, so early :(  Although on a positive it means that I have sat with the candles lit and no lights on which is so cosy. umm what to do with my day off work with the kids.  We headed to the new westfield shopping centre in stratford, east london. its right next to the olympic park. we visited earlier in the year and it is amazing the changes that have taken place since we were last here. Well the shopping centre was heaving, so much for the country being skint, plenty of people spending here so maybe things are not as bad as they say. Or maybe its all on credit and its worse lol. Anyway I had promised the guys a trip on the underground which they love and a chance to spend their birthday money. Charli wanted to buy herself a new buildabear, this one is a new limited edition bear and she called her snowflake.  They we headed to the Lego shop so the boys could spend. not that we need any more lego in this house, it is in every room.  But the boys wanted to buy some mini figures  and J bought a dragon made of lego apparently a new range. So after lunch and happy children in tow we hea...

Sunday morning and clear blue skies meant that we jumped in the car and headed off to Southend on Sea to use up the vouchers I had for wrist bands for the small theme park they have there. What is it about a helter skelter? They are fab.... Much to the children's amusement, they had a set of stocks.... My baby girl the princess..... Finally I can blog using my phone again. So I wanted to share some pics of our adventures over the last few weeks.... We visited barleylands and the twins had a go at throwing a pot using a Potters wheel, great fun. We went to a fab cooking birthday party, they made choc brownies and tuna salad wraps. - We took George to his 1st football match, spurs vs shamrock which he loved. Back at barleylands, we saw this beautiful autumnal dress made from woven twigs. It was truly stunning. Then we were back to White hart lane to watch spurs vs arsenal.
