This year I am taking part in Cj's 12 days of Christmas Photography Class.  The first homework was to upload a Self portrait.  I much prefer to behind the camera and not in front... But here are my 2 attempts....

A better picture taken in daylight of my page number for my xmas journal... Here  is my nov page for my altered art calender journal.  i really dislike it but once i had gone mad with the black paint there was no going back lol And in an effort to try and be a little prepared for december pages, here it is so far..... loving these pages so much.  i cant remember where i download the pic of the turkey from so apologises, and i added a sign saying dont eat me!  sorry my sense of humour...

Well i have started with the preparation for the daily december journal, loosely based on daily journalling prompts from Ali edwards but i change them to suit my journal or just do my own thing.  So here are my 32 date labels, apologises for the bad bad pic but i think the iphone camera is dying.  will take a better pic in day light.  so next prepare some pages, first deciding the page sizes.  although i have an A5 paperchase binder i am still tempted to do a 6x6 album because i know that i can order pics which are 5x5...decisions, decisions.... We headed off to south london and the peacock bar in clapham junction to take part in a chocolate making and cupcake decorating class. We started with a cocktail whilst waiting for the class to start, mine was a non alcoholic one due to the meds that I am on but it was still very scrummy.  Then the barman who was showing off flipped a cocktail shaker and it showered the bar and himself with cocktail, very very funny. We started by making some chocs, i forgot to take pics as we made them.  Then whilst they were setting we learnt about the different ways in which to decorate a cupcake.  below are some of my efforts... good ones came home, bad ones got eaten :) my 12 to bring home, loved the effect of edible glitter, very pretty.... -And chocs all in their pretty bags... Very well worth going along and doing a class, great fun the girls who were teaching were great fun. Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone

Ok I blame Pinterest... I saw a picture of candy cane vodka which took me to a site that showed how to make it, so tah dah!!!! 1st attempt started tonight..... will update its process. :)

Today we decided to visit Paradise Wildlife Park, fab day although a little cold.  Whilst there we saw one of the Gorillas that had been on display in Bristol over the summer. PWP bought the gorilla in the auction and put it on display in the park. 2 of my 3 monkeys lol And after we had been to the park we headed to Starbucks, whoo hoo the red cups are back along with the Eggnog latte....
