Smell and taste of Christmas

Image
I know I know it's too early but I am so excited this year. It's our 1st Christmas in OUR house :-) Well whilst shopping tonight I saw these, now I am a huge massive coffee fan and love the different flavoured coffees especially at Xmas.  So I saw this sitting on the shelf waiting for me.... Happy dance in the aisle. So as soon as I get in, I chuck on the kettle whilst putting the shopping away then mad myself a mug of this..... Oh wow the smell and taste was fab, and just screams of Xmas. So I guess I'll be back to stock up on payday :-)

Cute new online shop

Last week I received the first newsletter from a brand new online craft store which opens its virtual doors to the world next Monday (30th) sept. Well this newsletter asked for guinea pigs to have a look and be the first to shop online, in return we would receive a £5 gift voucher.  And once the order was received complete an online survey.   What an amazing opportunity.  So I sent an email offering my services as a guinea pig.  I was amazed and so excited to receive an email saying that I had been selected as a guinea pig, whoo hoo. So I went off to have a nosey around, the site was so user friendly and a joy to browse. I loved the look of the site, great drop down menus etc and has some amazing products. Having recently fallen back in love with washi tape and ribbons I loved these sections and those for the wool made me want to stroke wool and try to learn to crochet again. I placed my order with no issues and paid.   The order arrived today, the packagin...

Catch up time

So where has this month gone.... It started with the girls annual trip to the first game of the season @ twickenham. The roses in the garden are having a last bloom before they snooze for winter.... Thanks to a local farmer giving away apples we have been making these, I just love homemade apple pie :-). Not so great on the hips though :-( We had a great day in London hunting the giraffes, this was my fave one called your having a giraffe  And now as the seasons change I am loving the reason to wear boots, leggings and jumper dresses again. I am loving the change in the tree, the colours, the smell of the air and bite of cold in the morning.  So how has your month been???

A 10th birthday party

Image
Yesterday was the twins birthday party, a group of friends dived in literally to the party st our local swimming pool.  It was great fun, giant floats, aqua jets, a giant it's a knock out type slide.  Me being a very responsible adult insisted on trying out everything to ensure it was all safe to use lol. Ok ok I'm a huge kid.  It was great fun but boy am I shattered today and my stomach muscles ache. Anyway a few pics from yesterday afternoon.... This was their surprise cake, made by a very talented lady. Mindcraft the current craze followed by children, me I just don't get it but according to them it's because I'm old. Charming!!! And if anyone finds the last decade hiding please tell it to come back, they can't be 10 already can they ;-)
