Hi and thanks for dropping by. Pour yourself a cuppa and grab a chair... So how's your month been?  Can you believe that it's already the end of October. So my month has been a busy one, work is manic and trying to keep up with all the changes can be challenging.  The children have all had parents evenings, great fun organising them all, 4 children at 3 different schools. Before half term it has been the usual whirlwind of school disco's, after school clubs. Mum taxi is always on hand lol.  Well looking at my pic above gets me thinking about the mug, you see this is my fave mug, my other half thinks I'm mad to have a fave. Do you have one? My one is just the perfect shape and size. I picked it up in Starbucks last Xmas.  There is just something about it that makes it nice to hold, I can curl up on the sofa and it's the right size to wrap my hands around. Or maybe he's right and I'm mad to have a fave lol Anyway enough of my ramblings, pop over to Abi's b...

Only 59 days to go. How did that happen? Where has this year gone? I have started to buy a few presents, with 4children to buy for I have to try and be organised this year lol. I know I know. I did say try.... But before Xmas we have Halloween, now I absolutely love this night. I think it's so much fun. This year we live in a new neighbourhood so I have no idea if people join in the fun or not! I hope they do.  Then following this we have fireworks night, the town has a huge free display in the park so we will all be wrapping up warm and heading over to watch next weekend. I just love this time of year, so much is happening. Xx

As I drove home yesterday I noticed that the trees are changing colours now.  This is one if my fave times if year, the bright days with a chill in the air surrounded by Mother Nature showing off her colours. I love the dark evenings as this means I can curl up on the sofa, reading books, light the candles and relax.  Also 60 days until Christmas yay! Anyway I will leave you with a picture of the tree next to my house,  Happy autumn x

Well the summer had truly gone but we still have a few bright sunny days after the fog lifts in the morning. An example of this was last Friday a quick trip one junction along the motorway to look at a new cooker.... 7.5hrs later we left the motorway, what a waste of my day off.  One very stressed mummy here who couldn't wait to get home and see her babies.  So the following day I rewarded myself with the new autumnal drink in Starbucks...  The spiced pumpkin latte....mmm So now the evenings are drawing in and it's dark by 6.30  I have been pulling on a jumper and sitting by the chimnea to just relax in the evenings. How's the start to your autumn????
