Stereophonics

Image
Thursday night found us jumping up and down at the front of the O2 to the Stereophonics.  I bought C the tickets for his birthday in the summer. We have such different music tastes but both love the phonics.  I love the fact that we share this.  A great night out which left me with a sore throat from singing so much lol So are you ready for Christmas? I have almost finishes all the present buying, just a few stocking presents left to get. Back soon with pics as dec daily/Jyc starts tomorrow.

Hiya and thanks for pulling up a chair and stopping for a chat.... Today you will find me treating myself to my fave drink this time of year.  It's an eggnog latte from Starbucks.  I absolutely love them. Thankfully there is not a Starbucks for 12 miles near my house but today I am working in a different town so have treated myself and grab 5 mins to chat before a meeting. So how's things? Any news?  My news is massive this month, if you missed my post a few days ago I shall recap.  I'm getting married :-) We are getting hitched on news years eve, so 4 wks 6 days :-). I'm so excited.  Ordered flowers, meal booked, registrar booked, dress bought just my shoes and something for C to wear, he wants a wooly jumper and jeans lol I will keep you posted... Well I have to dash, time to sleep through a meeting, please share a link to your blog and tell me your news. And pop over to Abi's blog http://creatingpaperdreams.blogspot.co.uk/?m=1 and say hi. December daily/JYC

Hiya. So it will soon be December and time to start completing a December/Xmas journal. I started making one in 2008 and have made one each year since apart from last year. Time just got away with me and I did not find the time at all. So I am prepared this year, I have sorted all the bits and pieces that I want to use in a basket. I popped into Paperchase last week whilst working in London and picked up a pack of their washi tape but apart from this purchase I am using all the stash I have sitting around me.  So at least it's all in one place.  Today well last night in fact my youngest son spent most of the night being sick and being only 10 he wanted to curl up with me as you do!!! So we spent most of the night curled up on the sofa watching anything we could in between snoozing. So he is off school today, bad for work as I have loads to do but good for me. The third load of washing is on and I thought I would have a play and start my cover.... This is so far, I have cut all...

I'm getting too old for partying on a work night but wow amazing as always. Zzzzzzz

Sshhh its a secret

Ok it's so incredibly exciting and it's a total secret, but you can keep a secret right!!! In 5wks and 3days I am getting married :-). Insert huge smiley grin.... We decided last week after much chatting to just do it, why after much chatting I here you ask. It's not that I don't want too, but insert huge sick bucket here.... I've finally met my soul mate, at 40yrs old.  I feel so deep inside that he is my other half and love him to bits. On our first date a frog sat on my doorstep calling me lol it must have been a sign.  I have always scoffed at those who dreamily talk about their soulmate, but it's true I just knew I had met him. Anyway I digress into mush! So not me at all. His family are all close whereas mine are spread far and wide and if I see my brothers once every few years that's often, don't get me wrong I would love to see them more but they are always too busy blah blah blah and then another year rolls by.  So we discussed the type of weddi...

PWe headed over to our town park for the annual fireworks display, I love the fact we all do this, even the teenagers love playing with sparklers although they say it's lame why are they the first to light them lol Then we headed to the fair...  The 4 eldest headed onto a big ride (the first for Chaz, but she loved it.) Then in town the following day I noticed all the Xmas lights were up, and a giant tree.... And costa coffee have brought out a fab range of Xmas takeaway cups...excited a bit. The local store let me have a set of empty cups when I bought their new gingerbread latte complete with a mini gingerbread man. So cute.... Yay Xmas will be so different this year but more on that later....
